We’re teaming up (as exes!) for World Asthma Week to raise vital funds for Respiratory Care WA, an organisation making a real difference in the lives of people with asthma and other respiratory conditions across our state.
Asthma affects 1 in 9 Western Australians, including 1 in 5 women and 1 in 6 men. It’s more than just wheezing - for many, it’s a lifelong condition that can seriously impact quality of life. That’s why Respiratory Care WA provides free, community-based respiratory health services, education, and support to those who need it most. Their work helps people breathe easier, stay out of hospital, and live healthier lives.
💪 The Challenge: Ex-ercise for Every Dollar
Here’s the twist: every $20 you donate means one of us has to sweat!
• For every $20 Samantha raises, Brad must complete 1 set every minute on the minute (EMOM).
• For every $20 Brad raises, Samantha takes on the same EMOM challenge.
Each set includes:
• 5 push-ups (for the 1 in 5 women with asthma)
• 6 sit-ups (for the 1 in 6 men with asthma)
• 9 squats (for the 1 in 9 Western Australians affected)
Every dollar raised = more reps, more awareness, and more support for people living with asthma in WA.
💙 Help us turn our breathlessness into something powerful, donate today and make us move for a great cause
Every donation received by 12pm on the 6th of September will add to the sets required by each of them. Comment "Brad" or "Samantha" in the comment on who your money is making sweat.
