After suffering a devastating fall and undergoing scans for injuries, long-time Kilsyth member Sharon Hume received devastating and unexpected news that she had a brain tumor. Sharon underwent surgery on Monday, July 14th, and now begins her road to recovery. Kilsyth Basketball is committed to supporting Sharon and her family during these challenging times. Her husband, George, will be taking a leave of absence from his small business, Hume Painting, to serve as his wife’s primary caregiver during her recovery.
Sharon has been a cherished member of the Kilsyth Basketball community, offering constant support to the administrative team on game days and playing a vital role in the Junior Cobra program.
Sharon's four children, Lachlan, Jayden, Holly, and Jake—all of whom attended Oxley College—have been involved with the basketball community as members of the SEBC Saints.
Please join us in donating to the Hume family; any donation is much appreciated.
We love you Sharon!
