Hi, I’m Eli Mercer. For years I’ve been getting by on a basic, budget Chromebook — it’s been fine for browsing and light tasks, but it’s seriously limited when it comes to doing the things I’m passionate about, like learning about tech, and exploring creative software.

I’ve reached the point where my old machine just can’t keep up anymore. No upgradability, no real performance, and constant lag even for everyday stuff.

This fundraiser is to help me build my first real desktop computer — something I can use for part time editor work, schoolwork, creative projects, and finally break out of the ‘Chromebook struggle.’
