423km. 1099m Elevated Hike. 6 Days. All Heart.
This August, a group of everyday runners from Perth’s Desires Movement Run Club will take on the ultimate test: running over 400km on foot from Osborne Park to Bluff Knoll, finishing with a summit climb on day six.
We're doing it to raise $10,000 for MSWA, supporting thousands of Australians living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Why we're running
This run is personal. One of our team member’s mums lives with MS. We’ve seen the daily struggles, the invisible pain, and the courage it takes just to get through a normal day.
MS is a neurological disease that attacks the brain and spinal cord. It can affect vision, movement, speech, and overall mobility often with no warning. It’s unpredictable, incurable, and life-changing.
While we have the privilege to run, we do it for those who can’t.
The Challenge
We’ll be running roughly 423 kilometres in 5 days, through harsh terrain, unpredictable weather, and physical exhaustion finishing with a symbolic 1099m climb to the top of Bluff Knoll.
Every step. Every blister. Every breakdown. It’s all in honour of those who face far greater challenges every day.
Meet the Team
We’re not professional athletes, we’re just a group of mates who believe in doing something that matters:
Ryan Fazzalari, Mitchel Cannon, James Shaw, Cumorum Desmond, Josh & Matt Fabila.
We juggle work, life, training and now we’re coming together for something bigger than ourselves.
How You Can Help
Every donation, big or small, helps fund MSWA’s work from life-changing support services to vital research.
$5 or $50 - every dollar makes a difference.
Help us turn pain into purpose.
Let’s run for those who can’t.
Let’s go beyond limits.. Together. ❤️
Best of luck Ryan - amazing effort - so proud to be able to support you. The Team at Kalamunda Physiotherapy
