Help Brady Recover & Return Home to Australia (Aka - Captain Jack sparrow pirate magician) Brady is a 38-year-old who grew up on the Gold Coast and became widely known for his incredible impersonations of Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. He began his acting career at Dracula's Cabaret and later trained with top international magicians. As "Captain Jack Pirate Magician," Brady built a career entertaining at children's parties, pirate-themed cruises, corporate functions, and charity events. Brady’s charity work included contributions to organisations such as the Starlight Foundation, River of Hope, and breast cancer fundraising initiatives, with proceeds supporting breast cancer research. At the end of January 2025, our beloved Brady Mayer suffered a devastating accident. He fell from a flight of stairs in Eastern Europe, suffering a severe brain injury that required emergency surgery to remove part of his skull and relieve pressure on his brain. He was placed in an induced coma, relying on a ventilator to breathe. While fighting for his life, he battled meningitis and pneumonia, but against the odds, he pulled through. After two weeks in a coma, Brady woke up—but his journey to recovery is far from over. Brady’s Ongoing Battle • He is suffering from significant memory loss, confusion, and struggles to recognize even close family members. • His weight has dropped to just 45kg, making rehabilitation even harder. • He needs extensive physical and cognitive therapy to regain strength and function. • He will require a life-saving skull reconstruction surgery, costing up to $25,000 AUD. • The daily hospital and rehabilitation costs are adding up to $300 per day, with no clear end in sight.
