This March my friends, family and I are walking 100km to raise awareness for Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
In 2017, at just 11 years old, I was diagnosed with a severe case of ulcerative colitis. This condition has made the past eight years incredibly challenging, filled with hospital visits, medications, and constant pain. Living with ulcerative colitis has been a daily struggle, affecting every aspect of my life.
Despite these difficulties, this journey has taught me resilience, strength, and the importance of self-advocacy. I've learned to listen to my body and adapt to its needs, and I've found incredible support from friends, family, and others. This experience has made me more empathetic and appreciative of the small joys in life.
I’m reaching out now to raise funds for continued treatment and to support research for a cure. Your donation can make a significant difference in my life and the lives of many others battling this condition. With your help, I can continue to fight this disease and work towards a future where ulcerative colitis no longer dictates my life. Thank you for your support and generosity.
