It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved little boy Jonah, he passed peacefully in his family home surrounded by his loved one’s early Tuesday morning. We thought we had so much more time but unfortunately the cancer spread quicker then first predicted.
We would like to thank each and every one of you for your donations, support and kind messages. The Mills family appreciate everything you have done during this difficult time and this will allow them to grieve and be a family again while they navigate what is next. ❤️❤️❤️
At just 16 months old, little Jonah Mills began the toughest fight of his life. In February 2024, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, an aggressive cancer that primarily affects young children.
For the past 12 months, Jonah and his devoted mum, Desiree, have been living at Westmead Children’s Hospital, over 340 km away from their home in Grenfell, NSW. Meanwhile, dad David, a hardworking self-employed tiler, has been holding down the fort—caring for their 10 other children and keeping the family afloat.
Jonah has bravely endured countless rounds of chemotherapy, a major surgery, and two bone marrow transplants. But just two days ago, their worst fear became a reality—David discovered a new lump in Jonah’s neck. The doctors acted quickly, and yesterday, the family received the devastating news that Jonah’s cancer has returned.
For a brief moment, Jonah and Desiree will return home to be with their family as they face the heartbreaking uncertainty of what comes next.
How You Can Help
This family has been separated for far too long, and now, more than ever, they need our support. Donations will go directly to the Mills family to help ease the financial burden of:
• Mortgage & living expenses
• Medical treatments & care
• Travel costs to and from the hospital
• Ensuring the family can be together during this difficult time
Every dollar, every share, and every message of support makes a difference. Please help us give Jonah and his family the precious time together they so desperately need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Best of luck little man xx
