Hello everyone,
this is my dad, James Castricum, he's a very charasmatic, outgoing, and joyful person. He's hard-working and truly a family man. If you've ever met dad, then you know he's one of a kind, always leaves a great impression on anyone he meets.
Unfortunately, my dad was diagnosed with early onset dementia back in 2022 which has diminished these great qualities and will continue to at a fast rate. Early onest dementia refers to the diagnosis of any form of dementia in a person under the age of 65. Dad is joined by 29000 other Australians who are forced to struggle with this disease every single day.
Dad is living with the most common form of dementia, which is Alzheimers disease. Alzheimers is a physical brain condition resulting in impaired memory, thinking and behavior, where a person's abilities deteriorate over time. At the moment, there is no cure for Alzheimers disease.
Now, the reason i'm telling you all this is because for the month of November, I will be running 10km a day, or about 300km for the entire month while also raising funds that will directly support the research of dementia. Please join me for the month and help out where you can, whether it be going on a run with me, donating as little as a dollar, or as much as 100, every bit truly helps. I hope I can not only raise money, but also awareness of this horrible disease.
Thank you for taking the time to read my page, now please give me your money.
Tim, this donation is from your friends and supporters at Bayswater Football Netball Club.
