Ride for Juvenile Arthritis - Carnegie->Sorrento->Carnegie

Hi, I'm Gaby and I have Juvenile Arthritis,

Unfortunately many people don't know that Juvenile Arthritis is a painful, incurable, inflammatory, autoimmune condition affecting the joints, eyes and in some cases the skin, muscles and internal organs.

It is a chronic condition that can result in joint deformities and loss of vision if not diagnosed early and treated effectively.

There are up to 10,000 children across Australia with Juvenile Arthritis (JA). It is estimated that 80% of children with Juvenile Arthritis experience pain on a daily basis.

That pain can affect their family and school life and prevent them from participation in sport, play and social interaction.

Thanks to the amazing team at Monash Children’s Hospital and my ongoing treatment, I plan to ride from Carnegie -> Sorrento -> Carnegie (over 180kms) in a single day in the month of October 2024.

Please help me in my quest to raise awareness of Juvenile Arthritis and vital funds for Juvenile Arthritis Foundation Australia (JAFA).
