Hi, My names Sarah a friend of chae’s. I’m creating this to aid her in the help of the current extensive vet bill for her beloved dog aura. As many of you may already know but for those who don’t or don’t know auras story this is how her bill became so extensive. On Thursday 13th June aura fell ill. My beautiful 1 year old sharpie aura hence the business name became quite on unwell on Thursday morning due to an obstruction and was vomiting constantly and of course I took her straight to our local vet where they looked at her and told us she will be fine and just to go home. Later that night she started to become severely sick so I called our local emergency vet and took her in right away. We discussed what was happening and I said we should do some xrays for them to completely disregard me and say there is no point but they kept her there for 2 nights on drip and antibiotics I picked her up Saturday lunch time and paid $2000 and right away she became quite sick again. I called the same emergency vet back and told him when once again he told me she will be ok and that an xray wouldn’t be able to see anything. I took her straight down to Newcastle vet hospital which is a 2 hour drive, they done xrays on her right away and saw all the obstructions. She required emergency surgery which was $5000 upfront for them to open her up. She got out of surgery at 4.30 Sunday morning with parts of her intenstines taken and her stomach. Sunday night she took a turn for the worse. There was too much fluid in her stomach and heading everywhere else. They advised us that she wouldn’t make it through another surgery. We had to put her to sleep. Chae never would ask for help but is the first to help anyone before herself. With a bill of over $15,000 to pay immediately has taken a huge hit on her and her family. Times are tough for everyone if we could all get behind her and support this beautiful selfless lady. Every cent counts!
