Please get behind our fundraiser as we take on the 14km city 2 surf to raise funds for our little mate Tristan.
Tristan is only 8 years of age and in August last year he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. A tumor was discovered in his kidney & within weeks of discovery he had to have his kidney removed. After removal of this tumor, Tristan and his family were devastated to find that the cancer has now reformed near his heart. Unfortunately they have even found more lumps near Tristan’s heart that cannot be removed due to their placement. He was given a 30% survival rate due to the limited options he has to fight his rare form of cancer as they were told chemo/radiation would not likely be effective on his cancer. The family is now looking into holistic or integrative/conventional cancer therapies which appear to be very costly & ongoing
