My beautiful sister in-law and best friend, Carla age 42 has recently been diagnosed with inoperable/ incurable stage 4 cancer. Carla is also facing amputation of her toes or possibly foot due to a blood clot. As you can imagine the emotional turmoil is heartbreaking enough, then there's the unforseen expenses that pile up so very quickly. With a heavy heart I am here asking for help for my brother Darren, my sister in-law Carla and my 14 yr old niece who I will refer to as Miss K. They need help to keep them afloat during this very difficult and emotional time. The cost of fuel back and forth from the the hospital, 2 hours each way is taking a huge toll. Their home needs a number of upgrades before Carla can safely return home after her surgery and be comfortable during her final days. Sadly the list goes on financially and they could lose the house at this rate without a little help. My dream goal is $12000 to cover the mortgage for a year so they have that security of a home during this ordeal but realistically, even $6000 would be amazing and life changing right now. Darren is on the carer's pension taking care of Carla and Miss K. Darren picks up the odd handyman job were he can but now his responsibilities and costs have just quadrupoled overnight. Carla is on disability after major back surgery, so yes finances where tight to begin with. Carla dedicated her time to injured and orphan wildlife, her experience and knowledge will be a great loss for our local wildlife. She has been lost without her pets and her only wish is to make it home and see them all again and be with her family for whatever time she has 😔 Any help is greatly appreciated and please share the link.
