7 HALF MARATHONS IN 7 DAYS!! From 1st-7th July 2024, I will run a half marathon (21.1km) each day to raise funds for our Club swimmers. Caribeae Swimming Club are located in Rockhampton, Central QLD. We have an awesome squad of dedicated athletes who compete in high level meets throughout the season. Our Club regularly send teams to State/National events which invloves significant travel costs for families. I am Club President and a swimming parent, so thought it would be fantastic to raise some funds for our swim teams.

2 weeks to go until my challenge kicks off, with my first Half Marathon on Monday 1st July. And thanks to generous sponsors almost half way to my fundraising goal. Have ramped up my running a bit, adding extra kms to my training load over the past few weeks. 80K last week, up to 95K this week. Challenge week will see me doing close to 150km which is a bit daunting. Bring it on!!
