Our wonderful volunteer, Jenny O’Dea is embarking on an exciting adventure and will be trekking 100kms along the Camino Trail in Spain in May this year. Jenny is looking for sponsors who would like to support her trek and would like to encourage people to donate Ready Set by donating funds and sponsoring her trek. After finishing more than 50 years of continuous work in the health industry, Jenny began her volunteering with Ready Set as a means of supporting others to access the many benefits she gained from working, such as confidence, self-esteem, identity, lifelong social connections and friendship. She quickly realized the importance of giving to others and what Ready Set offers to those in need every day through the work of its volunteers and connections.
