In Cambodia over 3.5 million people live on less then 4 Australian dollars a day. This perpetuates a vicious cycle of poverty in which children are born into this situation and are unable to get educated or do anything to get themselves out of the slums. In June, I will be going to Cambodia along with other students of my school to teach English at schools situated in impoverished areas of Cambodia, and do all we can to help these children. Where you come in is supplying money for us to use to help these people by funding the construction of hygienic toilets to stop disease and classrooms for education. Given this amazing opportunity, I'm sure we can make a real difference in the lives of these people.
To show my commitment to this, I'll be doing a long distance swim without stopping. The swim is on Saturday the 20th of April and I've been working hard to increase my stamina. If you could sponsor me to swim, all monies raised are going to my Cambodia mission. Anything you could spare to help kids, $5, $10, - I'd be super grateful.
Thankyou for your support!
