Meowdy y’all! This fundraiser is specifically for assisting Salem in finally removing his breast pads / chesticles / nip nopes. Not a mammorium more of a home run celebration. So I’m almost 31 now and I’ve been medically transitioning for over 5 years. I’ve been trying to save for this surgery for well over that time and have encountered barriers in probably every form but financially and medically being the hardest. I am and have only just recently found out, quite chronically ill which has impacted my ability to work full time and my lifestyle. With the cost of living being so hard right now I’m barely scraping by while also trying to save and afford all my medical appointments too. It’s not easy but I’ve found a phenomenal surgeon who is working with me and my financial hardship. This surgery would not only mean I could lower the excess pain I am in from binding, reduce my rashes from binding but also finally live as myself and feel confident and comfortable in my body. Some days waking up and looking in the mirror is hard, everyone deserves to feel whole in their body and I truly believe that. Whatever donations that come through go directly into a savings account for my surgery and recovery. They will help cover any excess costs for surgery that I cannot save or raise myself and mostly for the recovery as I will need to take at least a month and a half off of manual handling (I am a support worker). So things like rent, bills, food, medications etc. I’ll be posting all my quotes and photos of how this money has helped me and keeping you all updated along the way.
