RIP Snappy & Clicker: The very sad passing of Snappy and Clicker: https://youtu.be/oKO7hTLIq7g I will do pretty much anything to get a shot of something that no one has ever seen before, or even just another angle of something everyone has seen before. The two cameras I use are 17 years old. Snappy and Clicker are young for their age and have been to Greenland 7 times, to the Sand deserts in Dubai 4 times and on top of the Alps in Austria…about 5 times just to name a few paces. They certainly have done a great job. Perfect travel companions! Many years of great memories have been captured together. For the last 4 years or so they have been working for free, or better said, have been used to show you my passion - The Weedy Garden. Although Snappy and Clicker ARE designed to be water resistant, Snappy stopped working a few weeks ago. With only her eye showing under a towel, a plastic bag & an umbrella in front of the Hemp Plant, Snappy took her last frame on the 1st Feb 2024. Two days later, Clicker stopped working while shooting in the rain. To be frank and transparent, at the current rate it will take a year of the add revenue from my YouTube channel just to replace the cameras. Not only that, I would very much like to get more cameras that I can set on time lapse. Having these extra cameras is the cream on the Weedy Garden Pie when it comes to the cinematography. I`ll be holding a burial and memorial SERVICE on an upcoming YT video..."How to bury a loved camera at the end of it`s life". They will be buried together in a small grave set up on the side of the hill to RIP in The Weedy Garden. To help support the smaller cameras in the family who still remain, like the little go pro`s, and the drone, I am sending the hat around. Please place your kind donation in the hat. I require two new cameras which are valued at 1000 pumpkins or approx a million views each! I don`t have either, so the channel needs YOUR help today folks. Gratitude from Weedy in The Weedy Garden on YouTube
Update
22 Apr 2024
Hi everyone It`s Weedy here just with a little update. Yesterday we reached half way to our goal. That means that Clicker has now been replaced and we have a new member with us called Shooter. YAY!!! I REALLY appreciate every one of you for supporting this cause. It shows me that there are some real legends out there in the world :-) If you don`t mind sharing my MyCause Fundraiser page on your social media and ask your friends to at least check out the channel, I would be so grateful. If we do not reach our goal everything will still keep rolling. At the moment, Shooter is on a mission to see a banana decomposing under the soil in the worm farm. I just love time lapse photography. It enables us see something we could never see with our own eyes. It looks amazing. Here is one of the thousands of frames Shooter has taken over the last week. Does not look like much now, but when you see it from start to soil in just eight seconds, it`s going to look fantastic!! I`ll be doing an episode on how I got this shot...coming in a few weeks. Thank you Shooter, and thank YOU supporters :-) Much love Weedy

Thank you for all your inspiring work in the garden and with the camera. As a result of discovering your channel over a couple years ago - pretty early on in your channel, actually, and have made our move away from the city to homestead. Thanks so much for the worm-banana time-lapse video! I'm an amateur photographer and my husband is starting vermiculture, so we'll like to try that! Much love to you, Weedy. Thank you so much for the beautiful radiant light you share with the world.
