Those that follow Audrey’s Facebook page will see the incredibly difficult time she has had this year…that seems to be continuing. Audrey was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome at age 3.. over the years she has been dealt loads of curve balls that she just takes in her stride and smile through, even when the medication caused her to be a type 1 diabetic requiring daily injections. 2023 posed a more difficult year with PRES seizures and other complications, Audrey’s diagnosis mutating Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). Her condition is likely going to lead into a kidney transplant and pancreas transplant.. In the meantime she is being treated with several weekly infusions to assist with the fluid retention, waiting for her kidneys to fail. Any funds raised here will go to further treatment and attempt to give her a the childhood she deserves.
