Byte the Beard - Canteen Fundraiser

If you know me, you'll know that I'm pretty attached to my beard.

Despite my mum's (not so) subtle suggestions that she'd love to see my face, there was no way that I was going to pull out a razor. Until now!

It turns out there is a scenario in which I'd get a clean chin. And I'm hoping you might like to back me on it.

At LAB3, we follow the mantra of Fear Less and Achieve More. During our last company-wide all hands, We ran a fundraiser for Canteen in Australia and New Zealand. If you don't know, Canteen is a charity that provides a range of free support services for young people impacted by cancer, to cover the range of challenges they may face. The main message is "You're not alone" and as a new dad, this tugged at my heartstrings.

As a challenge to the company to inspire the crew to donate, I taunted that if we raised $15,000 I would shave my beard. The crew rallied behind such an important charity and the thought of my bare chin, and the fundraising target was smashed.

Now, I'm setting another challenge - this time to the broader network. Yes, the beard is being shaved! But how much money can you help me raise for Canteen Australia before the end of February for such a worthy cause?
