"Karen", "Kazbo", "Walshy" however you know her, is facing a challenge. She has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and has already undergone surgery but now needs radiation, chemotherapy and rehabilitation. Karen is a mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. Family is very important to her. She is a dedicated urology nurse practitioner and robotic surgical assistant who has cared for many patients over the last 30 odd years. Karen is charismatic, her wit and anecdotes has the power to turn any day into one filled with joy and laughter. Sitting here and thinking about our friend...we can't help but think how much we love her and how she truly does change the lives of those who meet her. Each time we see her we can't help but laugh and smile....she has an answer for everything. And if you are wondering what that means well she is one of the most intelligent people you will ever meet but also a loveable smart ass who gives as good as she gets.
