On June 19th 2023, the world lost Evan O'Neil after a brave battle with brain cancer, aged 39. Evan leaves behind his beloved wife, Peta, and his three wonderful young kids, Andy, Charlie and Josie. Evan was a remarkable person. He was a person that would make time for anyone. Kind, compassionate, loyal, hardworking, with a huge smile and cheeky laugh, he was one of the greats. With Evan around, life was a little bit more joyous, and you walked knowing he had your back. Evan was a beloved community member and a passionate tennis player, having spent seven years on the ATP tour. He cherished every moment on the court, whether coaching young players or participating in friendly matches with friends and fellow coaches. Evan's tennis dedication was infectious, inspiring many with his love for the sport. Your generosity not only eases their immediate financial burdens but also strengthens the bonds of friendship and community. By lending a hand to Evan's family, we can show that we are there for them in their time of need and demonstrate the true power of friendship. Funds raised are donated to Helping a Friend in Need (HAFIN) Ltd, which is a Public Benevolent Institution licensed with the Australian Charities & Not-for-profits Commission.
