During each yearly trade show and members meeting, Synergy endeavors to raise funds for important charities throughout Australia. Attendees of these events are penalized for breaking “house rules”, such as being late, using mobile phones during meetings / presentations or not using name tag. When an attendee breaks a rule, he/she is fined by the “Synergy Sergeant of Arms” and that fine is converted into a donation for the chosen charity.
