UPDATE - Due to the unexpected generous donations we have received, all donations in excess of our goal will go towards ANOTHER water well (if we reach a further $2,000) or an emergency relief by Human Appeal Australia. ~~~ 6km is the average walking distance of those living in the developing world to retrieve water. In a week that is 42km in total. On October 15 2023, Laundon and Mikhail will be running this distance during our very first ever marathon attempt. If you know us, running is neither our specialty or profession and we have worked incredibly hard this year in an attempt to finish a marathon. To raise awareness of water security in impoverished regions around the world, please consider helping us reach our $2,000 goal of building a water well in a remote Afghanistan community to ensure safe drinking water is accessible for impoverished families in need.
