Help Daz get a Wheelchair Accessible Van

Daz needs help to purchase a Wheelchiar Accessinle Van to ensure he is able to get back to normality and access his ongoing therapy and appointments.

December 20 2022 Darren suffered a Heamorragic Stroke and was given 24hrs to live.
He is a fighter and moving forward after 7 long months and countless sleepless nights he is recovering at home with his family. Darren does need to be hoisted in and out of his power wheelc chair with him having no lower body movement as yet.
He is currently attending Day Rehabilitation at Nambour General Hospital and has to rely on a support group to transport him to and from the hospital and to appointments at SCUH.
A week ago Darren fell ill with a stomach bug and was outside the hospital awaiting transport home. The company he regularly uses for transport was 40 mins away. He called a Taxi (wheelchair) and had it accepted and immediately rejected .. TWICE! By the time he was picked up he had been sitting his own faeces for 45mins! We thought this was a once off until today when waiting for our transport again after an appointment at SCUH Darren had a sudden stomach pain and again had an accident. This time our transport went MIA. We approached a Maxi Taxi for a ride (40mins away) and was told that he couldn't give me a lift and we would have to call the company to book one. Again, 40 mins later Darren is collected and transported home to be cleaned up.
How humiliating as a grown man is it to be sitting in urine and faeces all while waiting for something as simple as transport?
We have several Wheelchsir Taxis on the Sunshine Coast but only a handful operate as that which leaves us very regularly waiting upwards of 4tmins to be transported anywhere.
We aren't in a financial situation where we can refinance our current loan (only had it 16months) due to now only having one income.
We are seeking ANY assistance we can get and will use the funds to put towards a vehicle ASAP to ensure Darren is able to get ro where he needs to and back without having to wait and be left humiliated due to having an accident.
