Funeral costs for Jo stage 4 cancer

Like a lot of busy mothers, Jo thought something might be amiss but didn't think it was too serious when her doctor told her not to worry about it. By the time she ended up in hospital emergency her kidneys were only at 6% and then she was told she had stage 4 cervical cancer which has spread to lymph nodes, back, spine, neck chest and lungs. She spent 5 months in Chris O'Brien Lifehouse who were wonderful and further 7mths in chemo 3 times a week and radiation everyday. She fought hard and continues to. She still lives with and cares for and elderly friend who has severe dementia. Even though she is incredibly I'll, she won't leave her by herself as there is no one to care for her.
Unfortunately she didn't take out life insurance as she didn't think it was going to be serious. So there is no money for a funeral or other expenses. To top it off a woman ran into her car, writing it off and won't pay anything. So now she doesn't have transport as well.
Jo is very giving and helps everyone else. I hope that people will now help her in time of need.
