Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in early 2022 and did everything he could however lost his life on January 27th 2023.
Bowel cancer can affect anyone of any age. More than 2,600 new cases are diagnosed each year in people under the age of 50. 1 in 15 men and 1 in 18 women will be diagnosed with bowel cancer during their lifetime.
I miss dad more than anything but am doing this for him. He is with me everyday, on every run and cheering me on always ??
I will be doing the Sydney Half Marathon on the 17th September!
