THE TEAM Minti Dee (Presenter) Gilbert Sibomana (Director) OUR STORY I have always been fascinated by Uganda ever since I first visited 7 years ago. Now I'm back I'm reminded again how inspiring and amazing the Ugandan spirit is. The people are just so friendly, they have smiles always, no matter their challenge and are some of the warmest, happiest people I've ever encountered in my life. My friend and colleague Gilbert and I had spoken many times on how the world needs to see these beautiful people and to hear their stories, so we decided to start a YouTube channel doing just that! We had little to no funds to film but we agreed we had to start something, so we did whatever we could. We borrowed cameras, walked long distances to save on transport and ate as little as possible just to capture these important stories! Sadly now we do not have the funds to capture more stories and the camera we had borrowed is now unavailable. We need to keep sharing the stories of the beautiful Ugandans to the world, we need your help to do it. WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT The Life Africa series Our series is about capturing the everyday lives of Ugandan people in challenging jobs or situations to not only bring them support but to showcase the Ugandan way of the people to the world: incredibly hard working, so vibrant, very strong, and always smiling despite their challenges! . The world needs to see how amazing the Ugandan spirit is and we are here to share your stories to educate the world on the truth! . There is no other documentary series like this anywhere and we believe that sharing these stories will bridge the gap around the world in understanding the beautiful people here in Uganda. People who work in some of the hardest and challenging jobs around the world or who are experiencing extreme personal challenges, but despite that always having a beautiful bright smile on their face and a warmth like no other on this earth.
