Sarah and I have been working in Port Vila Emergency Department since February 2023. It is a busy and underfunded department in the capital of Vanuatu, a small island nation in the south pacific. The staff are wonderful and the patients do not have big expectations. Unfortunately they often don't receive the care they need or deserve and have nowhere else to turn. We have been trying to improve the care for the people of this developing nation, and want to try and provide some more much needed equipment and training to the staff there
