The Tasmania University Law Society (TULS) was established in 1959 and has been serving the Faculty of Law for over 60 years. In 2023 TULS is proud to offer students a variety of extracurricular activities including internal and intervarsity competitions, Student Success Initiative Tutorials, sports, annual Law Ball and Law Cocktail events, a careers fair, as well as other events raising awareness for student wellbeing and diversity in the law. We firmly believe that each of these events are essential in supplementing a legal education in Tasmania and preparing students for a future in the profession. As excited as we are to offer these opportunities for students, they can often be expensive to run, and so in light of this, TULS are now accepting donations from UTAS Faculty of Law Alumni and the Tasmanian legal profession more broadly. TULS are excited to welcome GOLD level donations of up to $100.00 and PLATINUM level donations for any amount above $100.00 for 2023-24. Donors will be thanked on our website but are also welcome to donate anonymously. These donations will allow TULS to continue offering students these opportunities for years to come!
