Soloman (Solie as he is affectionally known) was diagnosed with Leukaemia earlier this year, at 15 years of age this will be the toughest fight of his and his family's life.
Solie was first admitted to The Royal Childrens Hospital on 27 February 2023 he received a diagnosis of Precursor B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, a malignant cancer.
He has begun chemotherapy and his treatment team has anticipated this will require 18 months of further treatment.
Solie will need to stay in hospital for the first phase of his treatment, he will then be required to have regular and lengthy hospital admissions and outpatient appointments with various clinicians and doctors, along with countless imaging appointments and separate blood tests, dressing changes and central line reviews.
Solie needs 24/7 care during his treatment and will need constant care from with parents and extended family throughout this time.
Extended time off work, travel and accommodation arrangements, all combined with the extra medical cost Solie requires are all causing significant financial strain on the family.
The aim of this fund is to relieve a little bit of financial pressure so the family can give Solie all the love, support and treatment he needs.
We appreciate any donations made.
