About
Passionate about mountain biking I grew up in the lush green hills of High Tatras, where I would often spend hours exploring the beautiful countryside on my trusty bicycle. This year, I have decided to take my love for cycling to the next level by participating in a charity cycling event in the Australian Outback. The challenge? Cycling 660km in a rugged corner of the red continent. Starting on a scorching day I will embark on a grueling 660km cycling journey through some of the harshest and most unforgiving terrain imaginable. With temperatures soaring to 40 degrees Celsius and the scorching sun beating down on my back, I know that this challenge will push me to my limits both physically and mentally. I’m helping to raise funds for a charity that supports medical services needed by people living in rural and remote areas of Australia, that are no different to services required in our large cities, but the vast distances that small rural populations have to overcome to access health services, provide a real challenge.
We are a charity with big responsibilities to the people of Western Australia. The Royal Flying Doctor Service promises to always be there in a health emergency, wherever you are, whenever you need us.
