Hi Hooman friends and fellow fur friends. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to offer financial support to my hooman Mum, Brydie. She has a really bad cancer hangover and has been struggling with recovery, especially after her most recent surgery for a permanent colostomy. She’s at high risk of a hernia and her bum doctor has told her to take it easy. Lots of rest, no lifting and no strenuous activities. Mum’s worked full time for two years, through most of her treatment, and because of this she is burning out and can't stay on top of everything. She’s the only hooman in the house and when she comes home from work, she doesn’t have the energy to do things like cleaning, cooking, gardening, or walking me. Some financial support will help Mum over the next few months to cover the cost of some medical bills, medications, some domestic support, someone to mow the lawn, pre-made meal deliveries, and of course some doggy daycare for me. With this support Mum can continue to stay at work, and then rest and recover on weekends, focus on some self-care, and not feel overwhelmed with everything piling up. Mum isn’t very good at asking for help and if you can’t donate, but still want to help in some way, you can always come and hang out with us for a cuppa, watch a movie, or take me for a walk while Mum rests on the couch. I love swimming at the dog beach, and I’m really good at walking on the lead for walks around the block.
Hope this helps x
