Since being diagnosed with breast cancer, I have been visiting Forbes Cancer Care Centre every few weeks for treatment. Throughout that time, I’ve been using the DigniCap Scalp Cooling System, a cap which can help to reduce hair loss as a side effect of chemotherapy. It's one of only two in our region, and now I am determined to ensure a second cap is available for patients at St Stephen’s. To help raise funds to purchase the cap, I’ve create a Gala called Cap it for Chemo, it will be a spectacular night of ‘fun-draising’ to be held on Saturday 20 May 2023 at the Beach House Hotel Hervey Bay.
