As dawn broke after Australia day 2023, my lovely friend Dr. Freyja Page experienced the sudden and unexpected death of her husband to be David Harrow. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting David will know him for his smile, listening ear and big heart. Freyja and David had time for everyone and were looking forward their wedding later this year. Freyja is self-employed GP, helping the Townsville community as a doctor since 2012. She has a young son, who is also devastated by their heartbreaking loss. If you have been unfortunate enough to experience this situation too, you will know it's often expected and unexpected bills, putting food on the table, and a thousand other little things that add to an already unimaginable burden on grieving families. Whilst it is the last thing we want to think about, money is often the most pressing matter on grieving families. Whilst we cannot hope to alleviate the pain of Freyja and Caelan's loss, I am setting up this funding page in the hope that we can provide a donation Freyja when it is needed most, to provide for their immediate expenses and allow her time to grieve.
