Joe Spencer's had a spin in the washing machine to get rid of all the dust from the Bike Packing trip and he's feeling refreshed and revived. He wanted me to thank everyone who so generously donated to B4H and supported us - you're all legends! Thank you so much!

They finally stopped for lunch !!
It’s been quite a trip so far for this old bear - I’ve had whiplash, been sweated on, dust covered, dropped and run over … but all for a good cause .
Mike and Lorraine have the final 100km push to Blenheim tomorrow - it looks like I might get pretty wet - and I no longer have a raincoat coz they used it as a rubbish bag ?
We’ve been so lucky with the weSther though , can’t complain about a wet day and at least it’s the final stage !!
We are more than halfway to our fundraising goal now !

Mike and Joe Spencer arriving at Tophouse Hotel St Arnaud - nearly 1000m of climbing into a head wind - Joe is wearing his raincoat due to some inclement weather !!
Highly recommend a night at Tophouse - where you will experience the worlds smallest but most well stocked bar and an incredible , passionate chef who’s food is incredible - tomorrow night we camp !

My name’s Joe Spencer; I’m a bear – I am small, but I am tough and resilient. Rosie Harley adopted me in 2006, and I am very well-travelled.
I’ve been living in a cupboard for the last few years (a little like Harry Potter.) When Lorraine and Mike decided to undertake their ‘bike-packing for humanity’ awareness/fundraising adventure, they thought it would be fun to bring me along for the ride.
I overheard them talking way back in the winter, early in the planning stages, and frankly, I didn’t think it would come to much! But here we are 2 days away from kick-off, and I now have a helmet and t-shirt – I guess we really are going to do this thing! Looking at the weather forecast, I hope they’ll get me a raincoat or a plastic bag at the very least.

Today was a practice run and checking out the bikes after unpacking them. Tee ride down to the farm into a head wind was a short but worthwhile workout.
