Grassroots Aid in Ukraine

I've been a self-funding volunteer in Ukraine since April 2022. I plan to keep going as long as I can mentally and financially. I have and continue to work with many NGOs, particularly local and women-lead organisations while also staying independent enough to be able to help when and where it is needed without the red tape delay.

Having no income for this long is starting to take its toll. Apart from accommodation and living costs, there are many things I pay out of pocket because they're needed to get the job done.

I'm using this fundraiser to help me stay here as well as to buy things that really make a difference. These are things like fuel and transport, unexpected expenses that arise when we're delivering aid and transporting evacuees, supplies and hardware, direct aid to individuals in need, and plenty more.
