Hey everyone!! Next year in August I will be diving deep into Pacific, living in a Fijian village for a month delivering mental health empowerment projects with Fijian youth groups in a @thinkpacific team! I am super super excited to be able to spread mental health awareness, break the stigma and learn and immerse myself in the culture. The leading cause of death of young people in Fiji is suicide and nearly 42% of Fijians they would put off seeking help due to embarrassment. Think Pacific works to empower young people to be mental health ambassadors in the community, promote understanding and start incredibly important conversations.
