I was invited to Australia by a prospective husband whom i had known for 4 years with a view to get married and provide a home for myself and my 4-year-old daughter. Upon arrival in Australia, all the promises disappeared, and we were forced to live in a partly lined caravan in a paddock with little or no support. During this time an unwanted pregnancy occurred, and the prospective relationship broke down, became abusive and resulted in me and my daughter being dumped at Midland Police Station after midnight with nowhere to go. Some friends have provided some short-term refuge until I can raise some money for my return to the Philippines and medical treatment which will occur in the near future. My visa runs out at the end of Dec 2022, and I desperately need funds to go forward.
