We are middle school students from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College in Alice Springs and our aim is to raise money to help Children's Ground develop Arrernte Language books. Children's Ground have already produced some wonderful books suitable for early years children, that have been written and illustrated by local Arrernte people - but we want to help them do more! This is our first attempt at a 'swimathon' and we have people who are great swimmers and some who have just started. But we are determine to complete 500 laps!

Greetings supporters! You would have to say that we are doing very well considering its still 13 days until the swim. The students are very confident that we can reach the 500 laps and are very determined to do so! Most of them have been practising in the Alice Springs Pool and juggling all of the end-of-school year commitments at the same time.
