2022 has seen the east coast of Australia experience some of the most extreme weather events in recent memory, with many thousands of families uprooted by the heavy flooding.
So, just as we did in 2020, the Project will be running an End of Year Gift Drive and fundraiser to spread some joy to those families who've done it tough.
This year we're raising money for the Harding-Miller Foundation. This is a local Balmain-based charity, and donations will go towards providing education scholarships for disadvantaged young women.
In addition to your valued contribution, you may like to participate in our Gift Drive. The Project is accepting gift contributions on behalf of The Salvation Army, which will be donated to children, teenagers and parents doing it tough this holiday season. Gifts can be dropped off at the Community Information Centre (84 Lilyfield Road, Rozelle) 9am-5pm weekdays, or the Security Hut (68-72 Lilyfield Road, Rozelle) outside of these hours.
This is a really rewarding opportunity to give back to the community, so please give generously and spread some end of year cheer to those who need it most.
