At 13 weeks old our little boy, Artemis, was diagnosed with Sagittal Synostosis, which is early fusion of the skull. We were advised that he would need to have a major operation to have completed a Cranial Vault remodelling (this is where they remodel his skull to allow room for his brain to continue to grow). After a long process, delays with COVID, and some issued with blood tests, Artemis has his operation on the 26th July 2021. We spent 4 days in hospital, Artemis was hitting all the recovery marks early, which was such a relief! We are now a year post operation and Artemis is recovering really well, kicking all of his milestones, running a muck with his big brother Ari and we are nearly due to celebrate Artemis, 2nd Birthday. A lot has happened over the past 2 years, and we are wanting to celebrate how far we have come and also to give back to the Foundation who support us during the most terrifying times in our lives. Last year we were able to raise $4,660.00 with the support of our amazing friends, family and community. We are wanting to double our contribution this year!
