Dear friends and family of Pat, Brigette, Harrison and Riley, As you may or may not know, Riley was very recently diagnosed with a severe and aggressive form of Leukaemia. Unfortunately, Riley must quickly undergo extensive and painstaking treatment to ensure he has the best chance of pulling through this horrible illness. Pat, Brigette and family have, of course, been shellshocked by what has transpired and the news of the battle ahead. Riley is a wonderful and caring young man. He loves playing and watching rugby league football and is a big fan of the Brisbane Broncos. He dreams of playing professionally for the Broncos in years to come. His passion and tenacity for achieving the goals he sets himself were demonstrated in his recent selection for his local representative team. Riley and his family are decent and genuine people who have touched the lives of many. Despite the extent of Riley's strength, he will likely require extensive care and support over an extended period of time. Expenses associated with treatment and necessary family support are not specifically known, but will likely be extensive.
