HELP THE ALLCHORN FAMILY FIGHT A HUGE INJUSTICE AND KEEP THEIR FATHER OUT OF PRISION Brent came into this world 46 years ago Born BRENT ALLCHORN-SIMPSON- Just like any other kid I had my whole life ahead of me, the beginning of an era! Huge hopes and dreams and wild ideas about where my life would take me! Excited at the prospect of living life to the fullest and experiencing all life had to offer - THE WORLD WAS MY OYSTER!!! I couldn’t wait to get started! With the right people around me, with their love, protection and guidance this boy would make a difference in this world, be something special and eventually pass on what he had learned to the next generation and make this world a better place. But FATE had different plans for BRENT ALLCHORN SIMPSON! Little did he know what awaited him was a life of betrayal, misery, abuse, poverty and violence. Abandoned by those supposed to love, care, protect and guide him! leaving him scared and vulnerable, wondering what he had done wrong to be treated this way? Not long after that the sexual abuse started! With no one to protect him he fell prey to years of repeated rape and heinous disgusting acts. First it was the neighbours in the street and then by the people had been raised to respect most – the brothers at the catholic school he attended! In, an effort to escape the pain he fled to the streets and spent a large portion of his childhood without a home or family, except for the occasional foster home which simply added to his demise, and forever growing list of misfortune. Eventually he found an escape from the pain by using drugs. He developed a healthy appetite to all types of drugs as early as age 11. Long stints in Juvenile detention saw most of his teenage years locked up and on a downward spiral. We won’t bore you all with the rest but as you can imagine life progressively got worse – the violence escalated, the amount of drugs he was using was enough to kill a horse and Jail was the only place where he felt like he belonged and fit in. After serving his last prison sentence in 2009 with a healthy total of 14 years served he had had enough!! He vowed to turn his life around and reach for the dreams he once had as a kid. Give back to society and make a difference. This was the first day of the of the rest of his life and nothing was going stop him. He devoted himself to setting up various charity and support groups, raising money for those most disadvantaged and protecting those most vulnerable in society. He worked tirelessly, driven to make a difference and prove that he wasn’t going to his past dictate his future. His entire existence is about helping others and his family – its what gives him strength, its what gives his life meaning and vows to continue to help others until his dying day. This is where BRENT needs our HELP He desperately needs the support of his family extended family, friends, the general public and those sympathetic to his cause and dig deep to help fight a huge injustice which has befallen Brent once again. six months ago, Brent had just comee back from work working as a long haul truck driver when he was arrested, and accused as an accessory after the fact to murder along with perjury charges to which he now must defend in Supreme Court. He is currently out on bail working to support his family as the primary income earner. The allegations state that he was not present during the alleged crime but at some stage over the course of the 24 hours was contacted by the accused and because he did not come forward and make a sworn statement to that effect he has now been charged with assisting the accused with what took place later on in that evening. Brent has endured much in life and has spent many years giving back and become a wonderful compassionate caring man who is a great father a good community person, and someone who loves to help people and pick them up when they’re down right now his family and he suffering more than ever and struggling financially! Mentally it has taken such a massive toll on all of them, and he works 6 to 7 days per week 14 hours a day just to keep food on the table. Unfortunately, what he earns will not be nearly enough to cover barrister fees to prove his innocence and allow him to continue on with his life and enjoy his children’s life alongside his wife and most importantly continue to give back to society.
