In 2012 our son Hayden James O’Shea passed away from sepsis. He was only 14 months old. He had only a temperature and was a bit more irritable than usual. I put him down to sleep on the 11th august at 5:30pm and he never woke up. It was very sudden and very traumatic. It took 1 year to find out what happened to him. I had heard about sepsis before but I didn’t really know what it was. World sepsis day is on the 13th September and I would like donate to the Australian sepsis network as much as we can in memory of our beautiful boy. Sepsis kills millions of people around the world annually. The Australian Sepsis Network (ASN) is the only dedicated national body working to reduce the burden of sepsis in Australia, through research and advocacy. My husband and I will be walking 10km at Conondale National park in honour of our son. If anyone wants to join in let us know! Please donate if you can. Every little bit helps to raise awareness for this awful disease
Love you always Hayden ❤️
