EMERGENCY OPEN HEART SURGERY First and foremost let me offer my sincere appreciation and gratitude to one and all for visiting this Fundraiser page initiated to kindly request donations (big or small) which would enable my Uncle to have a second lease on life to carry out the good work he is involved in propagating and spreading the word of the Good Lord. Palitha Rohan, an Uncle of mine is 56 years old. He is a man of God who always put others needs before his own. He has dedicated his life to God and Church. He firmly believes his calling is to help anyone who is in need. My uncle travels around Sri Lanka searching for people who are in need of help. He will offer whatever help and assistance to any needy person in any capacity he is capable of and to alleviate the sufferings too. He prays for everyone, every single day and is well known by many around the World for his dedicated prayer meetings. Just over week ago he collapsed in the church during a Sunday Mass and subsequently suffered a Stroke and a Heart Attack. By the grace of God’s mercy he survived and was brought home back to us. However he has to undergo immediate OPEN HEART SURGERY as it was revealed that THREE ARTERIES OF THE HEART ARE CLOGGED. He was discharged from The Sri Lanka National Hospital saying that they are unable to perform a Life Saving Operation of this nature due to the prevailing scarcity of Medicine, Drugs and equipment in the Hospitals Islandwide. As such HE has to rely on a Private Hospital to save his own life. Approximate cost of the Surgery and Post-Operative care is around 7000AUD according to the Specialist who will perform the surgery. It is IMPERATIVE that he is operated within the next couple of days since the Doctors’ say that HE does not have much time. By the Grace of the Merciful God we believe that this amount can be raised so that HE may continue with the good work he is engaged in propagating and spreading the word of God while helping to alleviate the pains of his fellow beings.
