Lucia Bekinschtein Community Project - Safesteps donations Page

My name is Lucia Bekinschtein, and I am a year 9 student at Caulfield Grammar School. One of the main tasks undertaken as a year 9 student is the community project. This is an opportunity to give back to the people and communities around us through service, volunteering, fundraising or charity work etc. For my project I have partnered with Safe Steps, a Victorian not for profit organisation that provides resources, information, and support to victims of family and domestic abuse, specifically women and children. Safe Steps are an amazing organisation, and I am proud to support them in whatever ways that I can. I am raising money for Safe Steps by rollerblading around Melbourne, and gaining sponsors and donations along the way. As well as collecting donations, this website contains resources to help support those who are struggling with domestic or family abuse. It additionally provides educational information to help spread awareness for the not only my cause, but the tragic problem of domestic/family violence in our nation.
