A few weeks ago my cousin Karolina emailed about a small project she launched to support newly arrived Ukrainians in Poland (mainly mothers with children) and those in their home country. Together with a group of friends, she gathers a variety of essentials so families have the basic necessities when they arrive (including diapers, blankets, clothes, shoes, school supplies, and food). In addition, they spend their Saturdays filling up vans to support those on the ground with food, thermal clothing, shoes, socks, sleeping bags/mats, medicine, and bandages. Although they're a small group, she said they've already helped 100 families with essentials, and have just sent their 5th van across the border. The group hope to help more people over the next couple of months and I wanted to support them by starting this fundraiser. Any donation is much appreciated and no amount is too small. ?
