My brother & I assisted 7 out of 9 family members to escape from the war in Ukraine. They now reside in Redcliffe, QLD, while my male cousins are in Kyiv away from their family & children. The government has been slow at providing any sort of assistance or allowing Ukrainians the right to work. This is negatively impacting my family - making them feel worthless & trapped because they aren't allowed to provide for themselves & have to rely solely on my income. Therefore, we are reaching out to the wonderful people around us, in hopes that they would donate whatever they can to keep my family fed, clothed & housed while the politicians get their act together. Funds will also be used for medical & psychological help, transport, schooling, English lessons, immigration lawyers etc.
