Memorial Gravestone for Duke York (Robert Anthony Hempenstall)

The memorial gravestone for Duke and the Duchess of York (Robert and Gean Hempenstall) is ready and waiting to be picked up and installed at their gravesite.

Many of you in the shooting world would have had the distinct pleasure of meeting both Robert Hempenstall (Duke York) and Laurie Moylan (Little Joe D), and as your well aware by now, both of these amazing gentleman have passed away.

Prior to the passing of Duke York, Little Joe D promised him that he would organise a beautiful memorial gravestone to be placed at the Berwick Cemetery upon his passing for both Duke as well as the Duchess of York.

Little Joe D arranged for a fantastic company in the Shepparton area to begin works on this gravestone and even put down a large deposit, Unfortunately Little Joe D became ill with cancer and finally last December we lost him too.

Little Joe D's sudden passing coincided with the gravestone being completed and ready for delivery within 2 weeks of his death, this now leaves an outstanding sum of $4650 (final payment plus delivery and installation) to be paid and therefore we are asking all members of the shooting society both in Australia and overseas, to contribute to Little Joe D's promise.

All we are asking is that you miss out on that one cup of coffee ($5) or if you are a liquor drinker ($10) - if all cowboys can do this , we will reach our target really fast.
