Each ANZAC day, the Mount Macedon War Memorial Cross provides a spectacular setting for one of the largest dawn services in Victoria, honouring the sacrifice of veterans, saluting their service and seeking to learn from the experiences of servicemen and servicewomen. The Mount Macedon Anzac Day Dawn Service is organised by a committee of volunteers that has conducted the event since 2009. While the volunteer organising committee receives generous funding from government and community grants along with donations from regional businesses, the costs of running the event continue to increase. *** Please consider making a donation to ensure the iconic Mt Macedon ANZAC Day Dawn Service can continue. Gold coin or cash donations will also be welcome in the buses that transport people to the Memorial Cross on the day.
